  • Seraphinite

    Seraphinite is a complex metamorphic and hydrothermal mineral formed through alterations of iron magnesium and aluminum silicate. A specific variety of clinochlore called chlorites, its name is derived from the Greek word, chlore, for green. It is a soft material of 2-2.5 on the Mohs scale, and shows as a deep green with wisps of silvery white appearing much like feathers. It is found exclusively in Siberia, Russia.

    Seraphinite brings peace to stressful situations caused by fear. Its appearance reminds us of the angels and it is a good stone for connecting with the angelic realms, your guides and spiritual teachers. Its name is derived from the word seraph, or seraphim, meaning six-winged beings. It is helpful for relaxing tension and stress caused by fear. It puts negative thoughts and emotions in perspective, it can connect you with your potential and purpose, and provide the receptive state needed for channeling. Seraphinite can help align the “light body” with the physical body. It is a stone to unite the heart (4th) with the crown (7th) in absolute unity. Finally, Seraphinite nurtures and supports the Divine Plan at all levels.
